Heather has a vision for the future; it embodies one of a global family living in consciousness on this sacred planet. By learning to celebrate our diversity, she believes we can overcome the prejudice that separates us. Born in apartheid South Africa, she was sensitized to the destructive nature of prejudice; in the US where she now lives, she discovered that racism and sexism are opposite sides of the same coin. With consciousness awakened, we can learn to relate with respect. Deeply rooted in the universality of Judaism, she believes a contemporary understanding of ancient Jewish teachings significantly contributes to the new world paradigm. Contemplative by nature, the mystical approach to living has been her passion. She regularly teaches classes in Kabbalah and a feminist approach to Judaism, and has had the pleasure of engaging in dialog with others:
